Well, today was a day like any other...other than I am off work...and I am finally starting to feel like my old self again, thanks to this time off. My car will be in the body shop for another 9 days...and from what they say, part of my car has already been repainted...and not with much quality either. Yet another reason that NO ONE should ever do business with Brent Brown Toyota/Dodge in Prove/Orem Utah!!! It's a long story, but rest assured, if you NEVER step foot on one of his lots, you will be better off! Needless to say, that dealership will apparently haunt me forever! But you know...what comes around goes around...KARMA! :) Word of mouth is a powerful advertiser and oh my goodness have I got some word of mouth! haha
Anyway...the very next message on my voice mail after THAT one from the body shop was from a very nice woman. She was at Petco, and saw an ad for a found dog in Dammeron Valley. She remembered Maggie's ad, and thought that the "found" ad resembled ours. She found it in her heart to call me. WHO DOES THAT THESE DAYS? And to top it off, I called that number and left a message...that person in Dammeron called me at about 10:30pm and we talked for nearly 30 minutes. I am going to her house tomorrow to see if it is our Maggie. Even if it is not, that dog is a lucky girl...the family in Dammeron will NOT just give her to anyone, and will NOT take her to the pound. They are animal people, thank goodness. In all of this craziness over the past month, there have been some very kind souls that have helped to boost our spirits and give us hope and the people I spoke with today (regarding Maggie) are some of them. Words cannot express how thankful I am for those that do kind things for others, others that they do not even know. If nothing else, it reminds me to be so very THANKFUL for the kind acts, however random they may be, that I am blessed with.
FAITH, HOPE AND CHARITY-those are the things that get me through every single day of my life, and without them, there is nothing.
Tomorrow is a new day and I can only hope for the best!
