Not sure yet if the dog was really Maggie yet, but the woman that called me has seen Maggie's pictures and was almost certain that she saw her today! She said she was with a young couple, early 20's, very thin with hoodies on. She was on Diagonal, which is near where she vanished from. Now, we just need to keep our eyes open for them to see if it is indeed her! Soooo, for those of that drive through that area, please please watch for her and please call if you see her or even if you THINK you see her! Our contact info is on her website www.findmaggie.com as well as www.freepettracker.com
Thanks!

It's what I'm reading, and it is FUNNY!
Okay, so here I sit...pryed myself away from my lastest obsession-ANY book by Jen Lancaster. I am currently reading "Bright Lights, Bigg Ass", which is her second book-and I am so sad that I have now one book away from reading all three of her books and now have to wait until May for the next one!
During my reading break, I am watching The Girls Next Door-UM YEA, I am in need of some mindless entertainment and whatyaknow, The Girls Next Door is on! I sooooo have work to do...I will be presenting/training tomorrow...but if I am to function at ALL this week, I need some down time and the time is now. :) What better way to unwind then watch a bunch of Playboy bunnies live the pampered life-THAT won't make me bitter at ALL! haha
Anywho, here goes another week. We just returned from a quick trip up north, and it was just too quick. I truly LOVE SLC and miss it so much! Thankfully, there is a light at the end of this week's tunnel...Badfish, A Tribute to Sublime...that's where we are headed on Saturday. VEGAS baby, watch out!!!
...on a more somber note....www.findmaggie.com still haven't found our baby girl, and I am NOT giving up!

I haven't laughed THIS much in a LONG time!
Sooo, I finished one of Jen Lancaster's books-"Such a Pretty Fat: One Narcissist's Quest To Discover if Her Life Makes Her Ass Look Big, Or Why Pie is Not The Answer ", and I can honestly say that I nearly laughed 'til I cried! I can't wait to head over to Barnes & Noble and pick up her other books! I can't even begin to describe the book. She has the most hilarious sense of humor! If you could use some good belly laughs, I highly recommend this book!
This sums it up...
“She’s bitchy and sometimes plain old mean, but she’s absolutely hilarious.”—Chicago Sun-Times

New Year...new projects...
Wow, it is officially 2009-2008 seems to be nothing but a blur! Many challenges, and many victories as well.
I have decided that this year will the year that concentrate MORE on the causes that are near and dear to my heart....Addiction/Recovery (I think we ALL know someone that is struggling or has struggled with this), TBI-Traumatic Brain Injury (I lost my husband and the father of my girls to this) and also Multiple Sclerosis (my Mom was diagnosed almost 2 years ago).
Yea, I know....as many of you know, I have been burning the candle at both ends for some time now...especially since we took over the family Steakhouse! But, in order for me to function and be happy in life, I need to be of some sort of service to someone in need. That is what my purpose in life is! Although I have had many examples in my life, my Grandma was the most influential example, and her influence will never leave me! As each day goes by, I see more and more the need for kindness and charity in this world...in our community. I am only one person, but that's all it takes to get things started! Who knows how all of this will manifest-I only know that I will devote more time and energy to my passions in life!
