Scar Tissue

I have almost finished Scar Tissue, written by Anthony Kedis-lead singer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers...it is a powerful book. An interesting read for just about anyone, but a necessity for anyone that has dealth with addiction-in the family or personally-this book will allow some insight and understanding of the mind of an addict. There is no way to ever completely understand, but this is atleast a step in the right direction. The will to live and survive is a powerful thing.........

Thankful

I am so thankful for my girls-they inspire and motivate me to stay strong and to live life to the fullest. They are my greatest gift!!!

I am also thankful that my mom's health-even with MS-has allowed her to travel and spend time with family this year. My dad has made so many things possible for us, and I am also forever grateful to him! These pics were taken at Sundance Resort in May 2008-my girls and I spent the week with my parents-it was the ultimate getaway!

Well well well! As you can see, I am easily distracted and somehow let my lil' ole blog go unnoticed....geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez where does the time go?
I have decided that maybe I will take a new spin on this and not only blog about life in general, but also add some geeky stuff...info, links, etc...the stuff that makes me TICK. :)
